Since this is only the first of (hopefully) many posts to come, I'm gonna keep this one short and sweet.
Basically, I love movies. And I wanted to share my love of movies with the world (even though I am sure there are millions of blogs out there just like this one).
However, I want to make this one a little different, a new, refreshingly entertaining blog to read. Thus, The Movie Experiment.
More to come, believe me. But the gist of the Movie Experiment is this: I am going to take a film and watch it grow, from synopsis (basically nothing) on imdb.com to full-fledged trailer, to premiere in the theatres, to DVD. And I need your help picking it!
Plus, the real experiment has to do with a little movie called.... Inception. Yep, Christopher Nolan's ultra-secretive new movie starring Leo DiCaprio, Ellen Page, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, and Cillian Murphy. I know absolutely nothing about it. I am going to see it in the theatre with no knowledge of anything as well. Not even what it's rated for. And I am looking excited. That, my blog-readers, is the ultimate experiment. I am going boldly where no blogger has gone before: answering the question, What is it like seeing a movie you know absolutely nothing about?
Of course, I'm sure that question has been asked and answered before. But not by Me.
Brace yourselves! Subscribe to my post! I'll start a countdown, too, of when Inception comes to town! You know I'll be there!
This has been The Movie Experiment. --Claire
