Anyway, so spring is slowly segueing into summer, which means that, today, there are officially 78 days until Inception. And I can't wait.
Over lunch a friend of mine said to me, "You know there'll be commercials on TV about it. And posters and people talking about it in front of you. I'm not really sure if you can pull this off." And it got me thinking. What if he was right? I can mute my television and avoid any entertainment headline websites (although that's going to be really hard, I already know that). And I suppose I can be that person who says, Please don't talk about this movie in front of me, I haven't seen it yet.
So I am not giving up, blog-readers! And neither should you (on my blog-writing skills!)
Now I want to ask you all a question: How far have you gone to not know about a specific movie? Usually awards seasons are bad for me. In the past I would stay up for a few hours to watch, but was never awake enough to last through the whole thing. Then the morning after, all the important awards would be ruined by newsanchors on CNN. Thanks, John Roberts!
But seriously: how far have you gone to keep from knowing specifics about movies? Because I want to know!
I'll write something new tomorrow, hopefully, although my day is looking kind of busy. And since I've given up Lost, (because I never watched any of the episodes until this season, and five episodes in, I felt like I was being disrespectful to the show) it's been days since I actually read EW.com headlines -- now I just skim. I miss it so much! Days till Inception: 78. Days since I have read words on ew.com: 5.
I'm out!
